Although Frontier Forest Products Inc. is a relatively new name in the lumber industry, the folks behind the company have been veterans of the business all of their working lives. Having established the name in 2005, prior to that, the owners of Frontier Forest Products Inc. (Keith & Woody) have proven themselves, in service, dependability and integrity in the Midwest since 1981.
We strive to do what the competition can’t do, won’t do, or doesn’t know how to do. We are proud of our straight-forward and no-nonsense approach. Selling the products is easy. Making sure we meet our customer’s expectations on delivering the product is our ultimate goal.
The staff of Frontier Forest Products prides itself on our integrity and reliability! With a combined 200 years of experience and knowledge we strive to educate and share our knowledge on every phase of the lumber industry as part of our service.
We keep one of the largest inventories of lumber and building materials in the Midwest, and our relationship with the mills in the U.S. and Canada provides us with many sources from distribution to direct from the mill shipment whether that be car or truck.

WHO WE ARE
Vaughn Woodward (Woody) and Keith Messamaker joined forces in 2005 to create Frontier Forest Products. Both having worked in the same office, serving the KC market for Continential Timber for 15 years, they decided it was time to bring something new to the market. That’s how Frontier Forest Products came to be.
Woody was born in Oklahoma City in 1948 where he lived and went to school during his childhood. He went to work for Longbell OKC in 1974 and moved to Kansas City in 1988 to work for Broadview. He joined Continential in May of 1991 and a year later Keith joined.
Keith was born in Oskaloosa, IA in 1955. He moved to Maryville, MO his sophomore year and stayed to attend college. He then went to work at R&D in 1977 until 1983. He worked at a few other lumber companies before he left in 1991 to join forces with Woody at Continental. 14 years later, he and Woody founded Frontier Forest Products.
